    WeeBee Bum Balm

    $15.00

WeeBee Bum Balm is a gentle and soothing application for baby's bottom.  Safe for use on both cloth and disposable diapers, it is a great addition to your baby-care regime.  Combining a herb-infused olive oil with natural bees wax is a perfect way to protect a tiny bottom, or to treat a diaper rash.

The recipe for WeeBee Bum Balm was given to us by our friends in Edmonton, AB. The MommeBee in that family is a herbalist; she swore by her recipe for use on her baby's tiny tush - because it works!

The herbs in the infusion were chosen to help with healing sensitive baby skin, and reducing the discomfort that can come with diaper rash: Comfrey root promotes healthy cell growth. Chickweed forms a soothing film over mucous membranes, relieving minor pain and inflammation. Calendula has antibacterial and immunostimulant properties for healing, and it also stimulates the production of collagen at the rash site minimizing pain and scarring.

**Special Note** : Our Mother-in-Law discovered it is a GREAT salve for bug bites too!

Ingredients: *Love, *Olea europaea ( Olive Oil), Cera Alba (Bees Wax), Symphytum Root (Comfrey), *Stellaria Media (Chickweed), *Calendula Officinalis Flower, Tocopherol (Vitamin E) *indicates an organic ingredient :)

WeeBee Bum Balm WITH LAVENDER AND ZINC

    $18.00

WeeBee Bum Balm with Lavender and Zinc is a gentle and soothing application for baby's bottom.  It is an essential addition to your baby-care regime.  Starting with a herb-infused olive oil, natural bees wax and avocado butter, we add zinc and the essential oil of lavender to make it the perfect way to treat a diaper rash.

The recipe for WeeBee Bum Balm was given to us by our friends in Edmonton, AB. The MommeBee in that family is a herbalist; she swore by her recipe for use on her baby's tiny tush - because it works!   We tweaked it a bit to add avocado butter with the zinc and lavender, for when the rash is a little more intense than your everyday redness and sensitivity.

Zinc oxide is effective for healing the skin; it can reduce the tenderness associated with chapped skin. Also, when zinc oxide is applied to the rash area, it can provides the body with the extra zinc it needs to repair skin cells.

Lavender oil has antiseptic properties and can increase cell growth, therefore helps with the quick healing of diaper rash. Its antimicrobial properties protect the diaper rash from possible infection. The added bonus is that the addition of lavender makes this bum balm smell fantastic!

We added avocado butter, to give the balm balm a nice creamy texture. Easy to apply and feels so soft!

Directions: Use as an ointment for diaper rash. Apply lovingly to the affected area. Put on diaper:) Snuggle your perfect baby!!!
