There is wonderful a shop in Stony Plain called ‘One Man’s Treasure’.
Here is an excerpt from their website:
"Our unique Antique Emporium features new and antique furniture, jewelry clothing, bed & bath products and household items. We also feature collectibles like toys, coins, tins, china, glassware, military items and signs.
One Man’s Treasure hosts over 3500 sq. ft. of shopping space. New treasures are brought in almost daily so its worth checking back often. If you have a special item you’re looking for we can add your request to our wish list. We have over 40 vendors who will keep an eye out for your treasure.
Our mission is to provide a warm and eclectic atmosphere, whether you are just browsing, or searching for that unique item! New, vintage and antique treasures are brought in by over 40 vendors with a variety of tastes. This means that there is treasure to be discovered by everyone!"
This marvelous place is loaded with all sorts of amazing surprises. I have been going there for about ten years, sometimes just to take a trip down memory lane. ‘One Man’s Treasure’ has goodies from most by-gone eras, mixed in with contemporary pieces. There truly is something for everyone that visits the shop!
Hipbees has a little booth at One Man’s Treasure where we sell our wares. Why One Man’s Treasure? Well, we felt it was the perfect fit for us because we have a huge affinity for vintage stuff, AND the ladies that run the store are the nicest people in the land. We thought Hipbees would fit in well because it is a local, hand made product - luckily we were right.
The purpose of this blog post is not only to share the awesomeness that is ‘One Man’s Treasure’, but also to let you know that if you are up for a little drive...you can save on shipping! You can email me to make sure that what you are looking is in stock, or if you are placing a big order, I can drop it off for you there.
So make a day of it with your friends! Drive out to Stony Plain on a Saturday; check out their great Farmer’s market that sells some delicious and raw ‘Love Food’, and stop in at One Man’s Treasure! If Danny is there, tell her Jill sent you!
Thanks for reading my post! *hug*
